Fourth graders took a trip to the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) and examined how real-world problems are solved through science. There were many exhibits to explore including Virtual Eye of the Storm, Minerals Rock, Florida Ecoscapes, and To Fly.

Mrs. Budd, teacher: “I was very impressed by the amount of science that the children learned and all of the hands-on activities. They had so much fun and were so excited about science. It was fantastic.”

Joey, student: “We watched a movie about astronauts living in space. We saw animals like snapping turtles, jellyfish, and spiders. I liked looking at the snakes.”
