Have you ever been on the great, glowing GABIE bus? First grade students had a great experience on this field trip that came to HHE. GABIE stands for Great American Bus Interactive Education. The students participated at four different stations with different STEM and hands-on activities including a scavenger hunt.

Mrs. Stettner, teacher: “The students enjoyed the fun interactive lessons involving nutrition. They examined crops from parts of Florida and participated in a planting exercise.”

Harper, student: “I learned how to stay healthy by eating healthy foods. My favorite part was the scavenger hunt.”
