HHE students participated in the Harvest Drive by donating food items to families that are less fortunate and do not have food for Thanksgiving.

“The Harvest Drive is a wonderful fundraiser that donates goods for Thanksgiving. We collect food items for families that are in need,” School Counselor Mrs. Turner said.

This event was organized by the Student Council. They decorated boxes to put in classrooms to store food items that the students donated.

“I brought in canned food and pancake mix. I went on the morning announcements [with the other Student Council officers], Milah, Scarlett, and Zera. We announced that people should bring in food for the Harvest Drive to give to communities around Broward County,” Student Council President Justin said.
