Kindergarteners, parents, and teachers participated in the Thanksgiving feast on November 25, 2019 in the cafeteria to celebrate Thanksgiving. They celebrated by eating food, singing songs, and hanging out with friends.
“I love the way the kids are singing and the way they are all together,” kindergarten teacher Mrs. Gold said.
A lot of planning went into this event. Kindergarteners also had to make lots of preparations for the feast.
“[My daughter] sang songs everyday for about a week and we collected apple slices to share with the entire feast,” parent Rebekah De Mordo said. “She had to draw and cut out her headpiece, and a lot of artwork went into it.
“[My favorite part was] that we get to be with friends and eat.”

The kindergarteners had a fantastic time at the feast. Not only did they have fun, they also learned about the holiday and socialized with their friends.
“[My favorite part was] that we get to be with friends and eat,” kindergarten student Sivan De Mordo said. “We have food and decorate stuff.”
Parents, students, and teachers enjoyed the feast. The audience enjoyed watching the kindergarten students sing and play together.
“It is a very nice feast,” parent Shalonda Jones said. “Everybody is friendly. It is a nice environment.”
