Homework is often given to students to encourage learning at home. Some students enjoy homework, while others do not like it. HHE students were asked the question, “Should students have homework?” and here are their responses:
“Yes, to get smarter.”

“No, because we need [to] rest from school.”

“Yes, because it makes sure we remember what we learned.”

“No, because we work so hard in the daytime, and doing more at home makes us stressed.”

“Of course we should have homework, that’s what school is for: learning and doing homework.”

“No, because it’s not fun for me.”

“Yes, it can help a lot of kids who don’t know the lesson so when they go home their parents can help.”

“I don’t think that we should have extra work. We do so much work in class.

“Yes, because I think that people need to learn more about math.”
